DIMS (Quantity Calculation) 
Fast Estimate allows you to enter dimensions directly from a drawing in order to calculate the net quantity to be applied to a bill item. This is entered on a calculation worksheet or 'dims sheet'.
Once the schedule dims sheet has been set up you can apply specific calculated values to as many items as you wish, applying the quantity to each item.

- Add a dims sheet to as many items as you need to
- Composite Dims option (nested dims)

This has similar functions to the traditional 'dims' sheet but
is easier to use, especially for those not familiar with traditional
layout and conventions ('anding on'; sidecasts, etc.).
The calculation worksheet uses a simple spreadsheet style,
with the net total brought forward to the item Qty cell on
the bill page.
